As a company which prides itself on forward planning, Blum has created a shared leadership team in the UK to prepare and proceed with a plan to ensure the challenges all businesses face, are met and dealt with.
Mark Richardson the Managing Director retired at the end of June 2024, and David Sanders the Sales and Marketing Director will be taking on a new international role within the Blum Group from July 2024. As a result, a plan to develop the leadership team was set in motion.
The new team took on their new roles on 1st July 2024. Mark Richardson remains in the business until he leaves in 2025, supporting and sharing his experience with the new team. David Sanders continues to transition into his new role of International Sales and Marketing Consultant to Blum’s global subsidiaries, whilst also remaining a Director at Blum UK.

Ben has been with Blum UK for more than 10 years; he brings strategic vision and a deep understanding of the UK market. Ben is equally at ease in the boardroom or the cabinet maker’s workshop. As Sales Director, he will lead the sales management team, inspiring others to showcase maximum Blum value and brand identity.

Ben has extensive industry experience and has been a valued member of the sales management team for over a decade. He boasts an extensive network of loyal customers and trusted partners. His dynamic problem-solving abilities have led him to become Blum’s expert in developing new business.
