The versatile range – which includes the Clamex, Divario and Tenso – can be machined on a hand-held Zeta P2 or CNC machine. And, with only one tool change needed – a P-System cutter to drill 6mm holes – it’s not expensive to integrate into your production.
Take the Clamex. It has been designed for furniture manufacturers who require precise alignment, fast installation without the need for screws or glues and maximum tensile strength when machining panels. The detachable CNC connector, which can be installed within seconds, offers automatic alignment for efficient assembly. It can also work across large surface areas and shallow depths but remain strong, working to cutting depths of just 10mm on the surface and 14mm on the edge.
The Clamex has also made alignment dowels redundant. Instead, positioning pins prevent any movement, saving time and simplifying the machining process. It’s also extremely versatile. The fully-detachable connector can be opened multiple times with a rotating lever and a small opening allows the manufacturer to choose between an access hole which measures 6mm for cover caps or 5mm hole without. Suitable for use on angle and mitre joints from 22.5° to 180°, it’s ideal for furniture manufacturers of flat pack furniture.
Alternatively, the Tenso self-clamping gluing aid and the Divario slide-in fixing are anchored into a form-locking P-System groove that can be cut on a CNC prior to assembly. The Divario is ideally suited to joining shelves and divisions from 18mm panel thick or butt joints from 12mm and is used to slide shelves or partitions into an already assembled cabinet, rather than clipping them into place. In the process, the Divario P-18 clamps the workpieces together firmly and ensures perfectly closed joints without visible connectors. Whereas the high clamping force of the Tenso leads to perfectly clamped joints without the need for clamps or presses, regardless of the angle of the work pieces. Beautiful joining is possible without visible connectors, with short assembly times and without the need to wait for the glue to dry.
